The Ohio River Greenway Commission is partnering with Purdue Extension Service of Floyd County, New Albany Floyd County Parks, YMCA of Southern Indiana, Friends of the Ohio River Greenway and honorary co-host Rep. Baron Hill to raise awareness for the Ohio River Greenway Project via the 4th Annual Run/Walk in New Albany.
The event on Saturday, September 25, 2010 takes place along the Ohio River Greenway utilizing the newly completed segment near the Sherman Minton Bridge and an area yet to be improved.
Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 8:30 a.m. on race day at the Riverfront Amphitheater in New Albany, Indiana.

All participants will be eligible for many door prizes. Awards will be given to the to the top 10 overall finishers – each gender. Awards and prizes will be distributed as racers cross the finish line.

Parking
Due to road closures during the event the best parking available is on the surface streets and city lots/garages on the city side of the flood wall.
Course
The race will start at 9:00 a.m. The course will be begin and finish at the New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater. |
